Hey,
I've been having a bizarre problem lately. I can't describe it other than to say that I have attached a screenshot of the problem. Also, it's not specific to one aircraft...it seems to happen to all of them. I'm running Windows 7. Any suggestions as to how to address it?
Thanks,
M.S.

Perhaps a video card / driver issue? Does the problem occur with the default FS2004 aircraft?

I used to have this problem in fs9 and other games when my older vid card was about to die, try cleaning out your computer and see if the temps are running on the high side. Also are you running older drivers? what are your computer specs?

It is interesting that only the AC itself is funky ....usually if you have a heat/graphics card issue you would see artifacts across the entire screen...not only on a specific object being rendered. Do you play any other video games like Call of Duty or anything?....just wondering if you have any problems elsewhere. What about a HD youtube video, try watching a long one and see if it looks alright.

It is always a good idea to open the case and clean out all the dust. Keeps it clean and cool. Also, make sure your computer is fully updated. Run Windows update and check for the latest video card drivers.

That is the new training aircraft for the flight academy that the Green Baron was trying out.....Looks like he hit something again...We put the big box on the bottom which has a big rotating blade in it to cut the pine trees instead of mulching them... banghead

I've seen strange things, but never . . .
I agree with Michael. Maybe there is something in the handling of the AC within the software that's gone corrupt. I'm gonna suggest the DIRTY WORD . . . re-install.

I would love to see other angles.

I'm inclined to say it's not a problem within the software because it's intermittent...by the end of that flight, the airplane looked normal again. The computer is only about six months old, so I can't imagine that there's too much debris within it. All youtube videos look fine...I can run programs like Civilization V with no problem. (Other angles look basically the same, btw.)

You would be suprised how much dust itll pickup. espcially if you live in a smokers house, or have cats or dogs or carpet.

+1 Mike,
Clean out your computer with electronic grade cleaner, just be careful with it.
My throttles weren't responding and I sprayed very little of the cleaner in them, wiped it down, and presto, just like new! wink
Aiden
