It seems like most of my aircraft liveries have disappeared and the planes is just gray or white. Can anyone help me solve this strange issue?

I recently noticed this myself since I started to use FSX on my system. Are there any benefits to using DX10? Most of the searching I've done on the subject state that there are bugs with DX10. For me, frame rate drops and the progressive taxi markers don't show up either.

You need either acceleration or SP2 for it to show up.

I have installed acceleration pack. I have turned off DirectX preview and still no CRJ 900. Any more thoughts on this.

To fix under FS2004 open the aircraft.cfg file in the DVA_CRJ_900 folder.
In the first section [fltsim.0] three lines down you'll see
model=nwl
The problem is the nwl model doesn't exist.
Change the line to read "model=" with no quotes, save the file and load simulator again. The CRJ-900 should now show on the list with 4 livery variants.
You'll also have to do the same in the [fltsim.3] section for the Skywest 35th Anniversary variant. It will show on the list, but will crash FS if you try to load it.

There are other ways but this is pretty simple. Drag your aircraft.cfg to the desktop. When you do this your lovely windows user account control will post a warning about folder access. Select continue. Change the config as desired and save. Replace the aircraft.cfg back in the folder. Again the permission is requested. Select continue. Hopefully this is the solution to see your aircraft.

If you're running windows 7, you have to run notepad as admin to make changes to the cfg.
