REX and FS9 go together VERY well! It is the must addon for FS9, really makes it a whole new experience! Just install REX themes you like and then fly!

I have it with FSX and I dont think it did too much to FSX other than weather... I know the graffix on FS9 are not great and from the screen shots ive seen with REX installed it seems to be pretty good

By the way, the weather engine from REX isn't that great. Has a lot of issues. I'd suggest a weather program like ActiveSky. Here are a few shots of how my FS9 looks after REX:

Are you using any of the PMDG aircraft?

It all depends on your system, but with mine, I get an average of 30-35 with the MD while flying on VATSIM. Busy airports get around 28.

Right now I'm using ActiveSky 6.5 and ActiveSky Graphics with FS9. I have a high end system, but wonder how much REX's clouds, etc., will affect my system compared to ASGraphics? Thanks.

Chuck, if you have a high end system, there will be no problem with REX, i have a very modest system and REX handles the clouds really well and i run it with ASE on fs9. It actually runs REX textures better than the default fs9 textures.

"REX + FS"
2 x 2 words.
'Very great' and 'Very Heavy'.
With a low end system, FPS takes a hit specially with CB clouds.
With modern high end systems, go for it. Nothing matches it.
