I upgraded my computer a month or so ago and everything was working fine even at busy airports like DTW and ATL. Now FSX is stuttering where it makes landing very difficult. I use ASE for weather and REX for scenery.

I had the same issue and found it was caused by the ASE depiction mode per this thread: http://www2.hifisim.com/node/1896 After changing the mode I was using, the stutters are now gone.

I have made an adjustment from standard depiction to smooth transition and also ran O&O defrag. We'll see what happens. Thanks

Trevor, what depiction mode did you select to make the stutter go away?

You have just two options :Standard or Direct Weather Control!!
