Finally this weekend i will recieve my new system and just wanted a few pointers from windows 7 users.
I will continue to use FS9 as i hear to many problems in the forums here about FSX.

1. Will fs9 install on windows 7 as per xp or will i need to download patches etc.

2.Programs like WOAI which i have every one of stored on an external drive, can they just be copied across to the new pc and installed as normal using the WOAI installer or would i have to download them all again from the new computer being as windows 7 is a different operating system.

3. Really they are my two main questions, but any other tips you guys can give to make my transition to windows 7 would be extremely useful.

1. Yes FS9 will install on windows 7 without patches Just install and run as administrator.
2. Programs like WOAI will install without needing a new download as long as you run the installer as administrator.
3. run FS9 and ACARS as administrator.
