Hello, I've encountered another problem I'm on my IPad right now, and my computer is not turning on? Last night, nothing At all was suspicious about it, everything was working fine. But today, I'm running windows vista home premium 32 bit, and I press the on button on the laptop, and it loads up, the next screen is supposed to be like a Dell loading screen, but it's not. It's just black, and it's been on that lack screen for a few hours. I really need some help here. Any suggestions, please?

Could it be a fried hard drive?

Have you tried safe mode? have you tried system restore to prior date? A bad hard drive will give an additional error generated by the bios

Thanks guys for your quick replies. We dont suspect it's a fried hard drive, although that's happened before, we suspect that possibly a corrupt file or software is to blame. We actually did try safe mode, and it worked. I led it up to my dad to help me fix it, he's a computer guy. Thanks everyone.
