Sometimes when I file a PIREP either my departure or my arrival runway is showing up unknow. last night I flew my crj-200 from Atlanta to Akron Oh. I departed rwy 9L and arrived rwy 19 and they both came up unknown. Does this has to do with the scenery files noti in the database? I use FS Navigator for my flight plan. All the other rwy's in ATL shows my arrival and departure rwy even 0l its just this one time it didnt show up. Dont want CPO upset.

Unknown on what? your GPS...ACARS...FMC?

You can update the default Navdata in FSX or FS9 here: http://www.btinternet.com/~gb.mitch/index.html

ACARS by typing .update

And FMC if payware through multiple sites such as: http://www.planepath.com/html/dafif.html

These are all in the Web Resources section as well.

I think it has to do with real world GPS coordinates vs. FS coordinates. If you've noticed, Luke has made it possible to manually update what runway you used in case of errors.

I believe this is available ONLY to flight report approvers; prior to approving a flight with unknown or incorrect runways you can change the runway.

Cheers!

I think only we can do that, Mark.
