So, before I invest in this build, what are you guy's final thoughts? Will it run FSX maxed with add-ons at a decent locked fsp rate (like 30)? Is any of it overkill, or more importantly, underkill for what I want?

Looks good to me. If you want to save money jump down to the Intel i5 2500k. Practically the same chip except no hyperthreaidng (FSX doesn't use).

I have the GTX 560ti and a fairly similar machine and it runs great. You made a good decision getting the 570 as frames can sometimes take a hit when everything is fully aliased.
