I just spent some time browsing through our website and all the awesome features and funtions that it provides. I've been a member since February of 2011 and thoroughly enjoy it. I hope my fellow pilots will join me in thanking the staff and management for all their hard work. This is a huge VA, and we (the self centered pilots that we are) tend to complain frequently, flight approval times, check ride approval times, lack of fsx aircraft in the fleet, etc. We hardly ever stop to think of the people building, managing, and maintaining these various luxuries that we are afforded. When we have real world obligations, we simply don't fly. Yet we depend on staff to get things done regardless of their obligations.

I do want to say thank you. This is a top notch VA, with great people involved. We should all be not only proud but greatful for what we have in the Best VA around.

I have to second Kerry. I've had an even shorter time here (about a month) and have flown a handful of flights in the 737 category and I have to say this is top notch. Great fellow pilots to chat with in ACARS during flights that can give advice and encouragement and answer questions to help out a newer pilot to the VA. I have been sim flying for a few years but still have questions and the other members have always graciously been helpful. Also the abundance of routes to fly and aircraft options keeps the flying fun. Thanks to everyone that had something to do with the creation of this airline.

There are so many great things. So many thankless jobs. From dispatch, to events, to forums, and the list goes on. All volunteer positions, done by members who I'm sure would much rather be flying. But they do it to further the hobby and better the VA. Hate to be on the soap box, but we can't thank our staff and management enough. If a volunteer is ever needed for a position or just a task, feel free to call on me, I'll gladly assist. The only way I can think to repay you guys.

We have 2 of the most top notch, professional, and organised airlines in the world. I'm with Kerry, glad to be here! Such a small world too. One of the guys I work with saw me looking up airplane stuff on the computer at work and said "Have you ever heard of Delta Virtual Airlines?".

Now that's a pretty cool story, but I was waiting to hear the rest. Was he actually one of us, or had he just heard about dva? And it's not that small of a world, dva is just that big of a VA. If you look at the Pilot Introduction thread, we have pilots from places I've never even heard of.

He is still an active pilot in the CRJ program. I was with AFVA at the time. Pretty cool, though. You never know who you're going to run into.

Please add my name to the list of grateful flight sim pilots. I have been here a year and I have never had a more fun, entertaining, and educational experience since the advent of computers. A huge pat on the back to our staff.

I must add my comments - the short time I have been on DVA has greatly impressed me. I am retired from a RW career that included managing software development projects for the DoD, and I am well aware of the time and work that goes into writing programs and debugging them. Kudos to alll involved - every time I log in and fly, I discover another feature that surprises and astounds me. This is enabling a RW childhood dream for me - defeated by not being able to pass the Class I physical (eyesight) - vurtually come true. I'm looking forward to a long and satisfying DVA career. Cheers! smile

This VA is an ultimate level of what a VA could be. I've never seen a level of organization and hospitality as I seen here. We have great captains heading us here! I have to thank the staff for being able to make such a hard work and make all of this possible!
