Does anybody have this or know of it. Is it worth it? I mean, it is only $8, but is it just placebo Voodoo, or does it produce big advancements in FSX performance?

Well, I am fairly happy. It did the messing with the CFG for me, and I gain around 15-20 frames on average in all situations. So that means in on day I got the Booster, Blueprint MSP, and FSdreamteam KLAS. Good day. biggrin

there is no way this will give you the most amazing or best or even just good graphics after all its limit is your systems limit and it will drop what it has to, to get more FPS but you loose a lot if you have an older or barley usable system. what it does you could do your self basicly but if you want frame rates over scenery or graphics basicly just lower everything and set frame rates to unlimited then. i dont even get why microsoft lets you limit them i mean i only get bout 7 or 80 on the ground but like 170 or even 200 in the air but but if you limit the frame rates you loose the smoothness so why would you wanna do it?

You won't gain any more smoothness above 30-40fps anyways, so why not limit it to around there?

Basically, what it did was clean up my config, and it gives me an easy way of making the choices: Frames or scenery using sliders I never truely understood. My frames have always been limited to 45, the goal was to hit it more offten on the ground.

+1

As we know every second of video , whether a movie , game or any other form is made up of many still pictures with small changes between each, a couple or more of them coming together in succession every second.. or more simply as we all know it "frames per second"... and our human eyes wont be able to distinguish any difference in excess of 30-40 fps... So how ever high or low u set it above this value doesn't make any difference... but if the FPS goes below 25 we can definitely see the slideshow effect on our screens...

As far as I am aware and have understood from the hundreds of forums , if u set ur FPS to a fixed value(say 30), the rest of the PC resources are diverted to other more important processes within FS like rendering sceneries and other stuff... or else the PC is always trying to give u 100 or even 200fps but the rest of the stuff are slow...
