Does anyone with AES have an issue with not being able to configure payware acft? PMDG MD11 and iFly 737 in particular..

Hmm interesting. Nope, I just configured the iFly 737 today and it automatically did the MD11 for me. You have the latest version?

I use AES Chris as well as PMDG's MD-11 & iFly's 737 ....I have no trouble using them with AES. What is your specific problem?

I just downloaded the free trial version...just to play with it.. so all i have is EDDN version 2.12 i believe
First problem... It always shows disconnected. Im using it with FS9
2nd problem... With PMDG, it loads the aircraft but all the 2d cockpit gauges show up as individual windows and I cant change views with out closing all the windows, so I lose my entire 2d cockpit
3rd problem.. iFly, it loads the acft but say aircraft is not configured properly, which takes me back to the 1st problem.. It wont connect to fs9
I push the config tool but it comes back with cannot connect to fs9...

I read the FAQs they provide in the manual, and I got it to work with the default acft... but who flys the default acft..?

4th problem.. when the jetways swing and the beeping starts, the sound gets all garbled...

Wow! Looks like you have got a handful of problems! Sorry, but I won't be able to help, as I've not heard of anything like that with AES. But just out of curiosity, 2nd problem, do you load the aircraft in the cockpit view? Like you dont have the external view of an aircraft and then switch to the MD11 do you? Thats what usually will affect the 2d panel.

wow ....I wouldn't even know where to begin. It sounds like you need to rip out FS and reinstall everything from the ground up

@ Kyle- I believe it autoloads the 2d cockpit... but it only happens with the PMDG.. Im guessing it happens cuz it goes thru that synchronizing phase
@ Michael - FS runs fine...I just installed it to the directory it recommended... But it isnt the payware version...its just the free demo...

I haven't had AES very log so I have been configuring DVA MD-88. My problem with AES is when I start FSX and select an airport that I have activated, all my choices for gate selections aren't there anymore and the only position s I can select frrom the drop down menu are cargo ramp slots and a SW1 and a SW2 gate. I am flying the DVA MD-88. So when I go to hit fly now, when FSX loads I am in the middle of the cargo ramp. Any ideas why this happens?

I have double and triple checked the airport (Buffalo KBUF) and it is activated.
