Dear DVA Staff Team

Seen the newsletter and all the new happenings upcoming, great Scott!
Question though, is there any certification or training planned for people who want to become controller on VATSIM, i intend to finish my pilot licenses once online on DVA, then to give it a shot as ATC if possible ;-)

thanks all

My guess is probably not. There are already training programs for people who want to become controllers on the ARTCC websites. Could give them a shot!

Kyle is correct. The Flight Academy is aimed at pilots. Those who are interested in doing the ATC side of things will receive training from the ARTCC they choose. If you are interested in joining an ARTCC & controlling visit: http://www.vatsim.net/

If you want to become an ATC go to the vatusa website and click on the 'become an ATC' link. you will take an exam on general atc and if you pass you then can choose artcc which to go to. I know ZLA is one of the best, but I recently just joined ZTL, and hope to get my S1 soon and control ATL GND/DEL eventually

Thats what I though too Stephan but once you get started it gets really easy and becomes natural.
All the best with your ATC career.
