Hello,
I recently built a new rig. I wanted to transfer the Captain Sim 757 onto the new computer. Unfortunately, I've lost the installation CD (I bought the boxed version from Justflight). Any ideas on how to safely move the plane from my old comp to my new rig?
Thanks,
DVA6102

If the copyright protections are sophisticated enough then the transfer may be impossible.
Have you thought of installing your old HDD into your new rig and using it as a secondary HDD?

I don't think that that will work because FS won't recognize the aircraft properly... I guess I'll just have to keep on transferring files manually... Unless there's another way?

I think he means using the HDD for FSX only. I have one HDD for windows and programs, one SSD for FSX only.

Why not contact JustFlight directly at their website. They've always been helpful when I've had to contact them relating to reinstall issues with my 757 and 777.

That would be the answer. To move an airplane from one system to another is not easy. And FSX has to be in your registry as well. Although moving your HDD and adding FSX to your registry would be easier than trying to add CS to it. I think CS is one of those that buries keys in your registry. Those would have to be reproduced as well.
Talk to Just Flight. They should have records of your purchase, and may allow you to download the ac.
It'll be easier.

With that new info, and with as much as I hate to say it, I would have to agree with Scott.

I actually was able to transfer the model and VC. However, none of the gauges show any readings (CDU is blank, no engine readings, even when aircraft is fully powered up). Any help here? I think I've got most of it done...

The gauges are the parts that are protected.
