	I have been reading about issues with FSX if it is installed on Program Files (x86) in Windows 7. So, here I sit after uninstalling everything and trying to re-install in my C drive. Unfortunately, I have found that FSX will not allow you to install on the root drive (in my case C drive) like several forums have recommended. Anyone know what to do about this? Many thanks!

	Bizarre ..... My FSX is on C:\FSX just fine. What happens when you try to install there? ...whats the error message? IMO, FSX plays nicer with addons & networked computers when it is in it's own directory.

	Thanks for the response, Michael. It doesn't give an "error" message per-se, but it just says "Unable to install FSX to root directory". What I did that may have solved the problem was create a folder called c\:Microsoft Flight Simulator X and put it in there. It seems to be working okay )except for the PMDG NGX, which won't seem to re-install correctly after the move of FSX from Program Files (x86).

	Really weird ...never heard of that. You are installing everything with ADMIN rights, correct? ...that means right click on the file/icon and selecting "Run as Administrator"

	Yes...I've made sure over and over that permissions are correct.

	Got it worked out.....created a folder on C\: FSX and everything seems to be working okay!
