Hey all,

I've been having a problem with the input of my throttle quadrant to Flight Simulator. When I load any of my airplanes (tried the Dreamfleet 727, HJG DC-9 and fleet MD-88), the throttle for #1 engine is at idle (and will track as advance the throttle) , then the #2 and #3 engine are at 50% (and will not move no matter what the throttle input).

I've run the calibration and everything is coming from the throttles to the computer fine, and the setup on the Flight Simulator side seems to be setup, but for some reason this is not getting to the throttles for the aircraft.

I'm using FS2004 and the throttles are the Saitek Pro-Flight yoke (with the quadrant). This started between two different flights, so I'm not sure what happened in that time besides possibly an anti-virus sweep.

I've re-installed the drivers for all the equipment (yoke, throttles, rudder pedals, etc.). I've never attempted to use the configuration manager and mostly just setup my throttle commands in flight simulator directly.

Any ideas?

Thank You,
Kyle B.

If you have a registered version of FSUIPC you should be able to assign and calibrate the throttle quadrant. I am not familiar with the Saitek config manager.

When you do the cal, go to the sensitivity tab and make sure they are all the same.

I'll give a try to FSUIPC. I was not sure how to setup controls, so I just used it to smooth out the winds on VATSIM.

Edit: That worked - I was using the FS2004 input to setup the throttles - but it looks like FSUIPC was trying to do the same thing, so the throttles just cancelled eachother out and locked throttles half way up - works pretty good now (still working out some bugs).
