Hi all, I've just purchases 3 new Airports by Imagine Sim, it's the first time I've gone pay-ware for sceneries and they are very nice, I bought KATL,KDTW and KLGA as I visit these quite a bit, I will add more over time but for now these three will do, what I've notcied is that most of the jetways are folded away against the terminal buildings yet in the screenshots they are all extended so does anyone know what I have to do in order to get them to extend at all the parking slots

Thanks
Jamie

Jamie. I am glad you figured out the problem with the Image Sim software and pointed out that the answer is in the manual. Honestly, I own those sceneries and never paid attention to that detail. There has been many a time that I have gone to the cooler for guidance from our fellow members to find a quick solution even if the answer was possibly right in front of me. No one should be made to feel awkward for asking any legitimate question in these forums. Just my two cents from a long time DVA and Senior Staff member.

Back to flying. cool

Jamie, you can also get AES which greatly enhances your payware sceneries with fuel trucks, catering trucks, etc

Hi Mark, yes it is my intention to get AES at some point as well as many of these and Fly Tampa airports, it is staggering the amount of airports that are available and for £15 british money, it is certainly going to be a collection, I'm lucky enough to have a strong PC so will be getting a lot of them over the coming months, as for asking thanks for that positve response I know I should check the manuals but initially I didnt spot it, but anyway to answer the question for other pilots buying these product, you need to have the Scenery Complexity slider up to maximum in order to see all jetways.

Anyway see you all upstairs

Jesse meant that alot of people would have sat on the manuals, and just waited for an answer here. Maybe even gotten upset when the answer didn't come quickly enough.

You have been added to the elite that reads the manuals. Personally, I love to read them. If a great add-on has a wimpy manual, I get dissapointed.

I use alot of Blueprint Simulations in my FS9. Not terribly hard on frames, but not as much airport as Imagine Sim.

Eventually, when my system can handle it, I want to try AES.

I know John and it's easy to misread text, as for the manual I totally agree, I want to get the maximum out of my flight sim, including aircraft, sceneries so the manuals are a must for me too, the Quality Wings 757 manual is excellent and has enabled me to become a competent virtual captain in the "rocket", however I passed my 747 check-ride today and am looking forward to getting my hands on the PMDG 747 and the manuals that go with that

I made my first landing in the new KATL that I purchased and have to say John, if you can get it it's fantastic, I really cant fault it, I felt for a minute as though I was landing for real, crosswinds and all

Jamie,
Well I am greatful you asked. I own a lot of Imagine Sim airports and did not realize all the Jetways were not deployed. But then they are usually retracted aren't they?

Imagine Sim creates very nice scenery, and because of the work they put into it, they charge, no freeware from them!

The demos for ALL their scenery is FREE for all. The downside is just that they are demos, so a lot of good stuff isnt at the airport.

Why purchase, well maybe because you want companies that make the products we all use to
survive by making a profit. Otherwise they'll have to go flip burgers somewhere and you won't
have any nice products soon smile

I purchased some of imago rains sceneries earlier today for fsx, and have not been able to verify the purchase when installing them :frown: . It is highly frustrating that they will not respond to the email I sent them about it.

Pat depending on the airport there is no need to verify, you login to the site and click the link they give you to downland them. Only my CVG needed an actual code that was on the same webpage as the link to download. Dont really know how you are not able to verify the purchase. either they charged you or they didnt, and if they did on the website you will see all the download links.
