FSX+acceleration keeps freezing with the screen and sound still on and no error. I have windows 7 64 bit. 6gb ram, Nvidia 220gt and I just updated video drivers. Do I need to put uiautomatiocore.dll in FSX to work? I took it out. I have Fsdreamteam scenery but took all that out and it still froze so it's not that. It freezes after about 10 minutes of flight. Before FSUIPC.dll was causing problems but there was a patch for that. It caused it to completely crash and shut down completely. Just trying to figure out what is goign on. I have Microsoft Visual 2005, 2008, and 2010 installed. I don't know if that's causing a problem.

Are you running ACARS? Squawkbox or FSInn? If you are, make sure you have the current FUSIPC from schiratti.com. This may sound strange, but remove your logbook file to the desktop and try to run FSX again. Ive had some major issues with mine and I take that file out and it runs fine.. Just an idea

I'm running ACARS and got FSUIPC but had to get the patch because it kept crashing fsx and windows completely. How do you remove your logbook file?

I figured it out taking out the logbook. I'm trying everything I can think of. Time will tell.

Yes I put uiautomationcore.dll but downloaded the vista one so FSX doesn't crash. Hopefully, I can find the cause somewhere.

i get that to, the problem is the video card, it cannot handle FSX, what i did and it stopped the freezing is i turned down all of the settings to "low", thats the only way the video card will be able to handle it.

Turn off the autosave feature in ACARS and see if that stops the freezing

I made it from Tel Aviv to Amsterdam with no freezes so let's hope it got fixed.
