If I got another rating, which of these two would you suggest? Also, how do you get the 707 rating?

Right now, the 707 rating is AFVA only.

I think the 707 comes with the DC-8 rating for DVA, so...both!

707 comes with DC-8 as does the Comet and CV-880/990. If you're DVA you go through the DC-8 program and take the DC-8-61 CR. I'm not sure what secondary ratings come through the 707 if you're taking the test through AFVA though.

No problem. Also forgot the B720. And all of them will count toward DC-8 captain promotion as well.
