I just got the plane and i loaded it up. To see if everything works. It does, only the autopilot gauges are black and cannot be clicked on. Also i've noticed the flap lever doesn't move when i set the flaps but the flaps do move. I have had similar mishaps with the default 737-800 radio panel and some other planes. I don't know what is going on. I've tried repairing fsx and reinstalling it and stuff like that. Could someone please help me. I don't want this to go on anymore. I've worked on it for weeks.

If you are using a yoke/throttle set up, go into the button assingments inside FSX and find the null zone settings for your elevators/rudder/ailerons... dont move any of the sliders, just check the box above that and use the same settings for all.. put the null zones at 0 and the other one at full.. that should take care of the flap issue. As far as the A/P buttons not working, you may have to check the Level-D boards to see if anyone else is having the same problems

I had this same problem with the PMDG MD-11. A lot of the panel is blacked out and other buttons don't function. I'm pretty sure its because my graphics card can not handle it. Though, it handles the pmdg 747... I dunno different planes I guess.

I know that alot of the payware birds like PMDG and Level D use the FSUIPC to connect certain gauges. I don't have my laptop right now so I can't give you the exact reference point to look at but in the .ini file for this there will be a reference to the Level D bird as being registered. I recently had a problem with my PMDG 737 and after reinstalling FSUIPC it fixed the problem. YOU DO NOT NEED TO UNINSTALL FSUIPC!!! Also make sure that you are using the latest version of it. http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/FSUIPC4.zip After checking the Peter Dowsen Forum what he suggest is that you take and delete the .ini file and let FSUIPC create a new one. BUT at the same time make sure that you are using the NEWEST version of it.

Thank you for the link, i hope it works. Jeez...you know someone told me to delete the fsuipc for the other planes gauges to work, well i did that(BIG MISTAKE) and it didn't help. So I hope it will work and if it does, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Yesssssss!!!! My Boeing 737-800 and 747-400 are working now with the radio. Thank you!!!! But my Level-D 767 still isn't. Some of my gauges are working like the v-speed gauge but the rest isn't.

Liam have you tried to uninstall the LDS AC and try reinstalling? Also I would inquire if you are running Win 7 and if so did you install with admin rights? Also look at the forums from Level D to see if they have a remedy for this, but I would suspect that there was smething that happened during the install or if you added a product after installing the LDS it corrupted the files.

I am running FSX on a Windows XP. And yes I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the Level-D 767 and Fsx. I am trying again right now. I have thought about it how to make it work for a long time.

Nope...I am thinking about switching to FS2004 just to make it run better and still have a good time. I just don't want to be busy with the files the hole day. Maybe when I get a good Windows 7 with a i5 or i7 processor I will try FSX again. But for now, FS2004. By the way, can any of you recommend a good hardware for the Windows 7?

Hey Liam, talking about reviving a thread! Anyway i am having somewhat of a similar issue now. The autopilot displays (speed reading, heading altitude etcc) are all black and the flap lever isn't responding. I am guessing it's one of the DLL.s messing up. Did you ever find a fix?

Funny story, that (as far as I know) it works again. The flap lever and everything. Because i was so used to the default aircraft of being able to click anything and have it work made me think the lvl-d 767 was corrupted and in fact i only had to set it up. But I think you're right. It has something to do will the dll files. I am also thinking that the posky 777 gauge file is corrupting my gauge folder(sometimes), the posky 777 is a great addon but for me anyway it's very delicate and can't be messed around with. Especially when you have a VC in it.
