I just installed the latest drivers for my GTX460 1GB and after rebooting my pc, Windows is no longer running in Aero, and all of my desktop icons had moved off screen to the left, as though there was another screen there, which there isnt.

Any Ideas?

It seems to have destroyed the roof of the out house also....

Sorry Robert couldn't help myself, I had a similar problem a while back, but I can't remember what I did to rectify the problem

I'll think on, and get back to you, if none of the others have an answer...

Found a work around for the issue... Simply just reinstall windows smile

That sounds like overkill to me why reinstall windows when all you have to do is to restore back before you added the update.
I all ways make a restore point before I update my video driver.A lesson I learned along time ago. A once of prevention is worth a ton of cure.
Even though the update said it was for your card there is no guarantee it really is.

Thing is, I tried that, I restored to before I updated my drivers, yet it fixed nothing...

The new NVIDIA drivers are causing havoc with my Level D. Getting funny displays that require me to switch from full to windowed mode. I rolled back but still has not fixed it. Dang it!

Eric, are the gauges like duplicating and what not? That's been happening to me a bit since I installed the new ones (for BF3). Luckily never in flight, but on the ground during start up and shut down.

Craig, that is exactly what is happening. Like, when I click on the FMS, it opens and the text is doubled right above each other. Usually if I resize it or do an ALT-Enter and Alt Enter again, that fixes the problem. But very annoying. I did notice that Flight 1 had some issues opened about it and rolling back the drivers was the solution but I have not looked into it any further other than rolling back. That still has not fixed the problem. It does not seem to be fatal, just annoying.
