Oftentimes, when I am on FSX and trying to switch views/menus (or just randomly), there will be a loading icon followed by a message saying "A fatal error has just occurred". It's so common that I'm taking a break from flying until I can get some valid insight on this because it's so annoying. I have searched the Internet, but all I get is people telling me to uninstall or install some UI thingy, and I don't know whether or not to do so. PLEASE help!

Thanks,
Brendan

Did you check your event viewer and try to determine what is causing the issue?

+1. This is the FIRST thing I do after my FS crashes. Then after looking at that, google the file that caused the crash and it should bring up some people with similar problems and suggestions on how to fix the problem.

I had the same issue, if you follow the instructions on placing a uiautomationcore.dll in your fsx root folder it should cure it, did for me.
