Hey guys I decided to get a new desktop its down to either ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=417547 ) or ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=254044&srkey=syx%201088 ) it seems the only difference is the graphic card and I save $150 Any input on the better choice or anything that I can change or add to make it better would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My vote would be for the Lenovo then get a better graphics card.
Or if your adventurous you can try to build your own. You can put together a pretty good one for $900.

If I were you I would downgrade to an I5 2500K CPU. Has same performance as 2600K except it does not allow for hyper threading which FSX does not support anyway. I would take that extra money and buy a SSD in addition to your your standard HDD. Use the SSD just for FSX and you'll see a huge improvement in overall performance.

What size would you recommend to get the best performance?

The Crucial 128 GB m4 SSD has great performance / price. If it's too much, get the 64GB version.
With the 128gb you should have enough room to install windows, browsers, anti-virus, adobe pdf (whatever else starts up with your computer), and fsx on it. The rest of the programs would run off of your 1TB drive.
I'm a little backwards with where my ssd goes. Word on the street is that SSDs won't improve fps but it will improve fluidity. I would rather have snappy overall computer performance since I only use fsx a couple of times a week, so I run windows off of my ssd and fsx and other programs on the 1TB hd... but that's just me.

Please, leave FSX on it's own dedicated drive.
Get the parts and do the build yourself, it's a great learning experience.. you can add me to MSN @ uberwagn@gmail.com and I will gladly help you with hardware.
