I have tried repeatedly to use fsx and have nothing but major problems with it. I presently use fs9 and have no problems with it. Could my problems with fsx be computer problems or fsx version.? I use the original fsx. Not sure if I understood right, but you have the gold version?

Regardless, make sure you download and install Service Pack 1 and then 2.. this will fix a lot of the bugs and some hardware related fixes. See if that helps out.

no I don't have the gold version David, I have the origainal fsx not the deluxe just the regular. I'm going to buy the gold.

No need to buy the Gold. just google "fsx sp1" and "fsx sp2" then download/install both from microsoft.

Do you need SP2 if you have acceleration? I just bought a new computer and ordered FSX + Acceleration.
