It seems that when I'm flying lately, I'm loosing internet connection, intermittently.
I'm flying with FS9 through WinXP (32bit) with SP3
I'm running AS2004.5 and Deltas ACARS.
I'm also logging with FSPax.
And of course, Internet Explorer.
I've an AthlonII X2 Processor with 4gb of DDR3 Ram
NVidia GeForce 210 video with 1gb on board
Linksys Wireless Card with Speedboost conected to a Belkin Wireless-N router.
Am I overloading? What can I do to make this stop? Is there a way to prioritize the process that keeps me connected?
Thanks.

John,
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago
..log in into the Belkin website and look depending on your router model for updates and then from the left column restart it .....I didn't have a problem so far.

OK, Vincenzo. Gonna see what happens.
I updated my router's firmware, and even figured out how to limit access to all those pesky iPods in the house.

Could be your ISP as well. Give 'em a call if it persists.

I've talked to my ISP. Well actually, I've had words with my ISP.
I'm s'posed to be getting 10dwn and 3up, I'm getting around 6dwn and 2up. They say it's the router . . . I tell them they need more training (in more colorful words).
The problem though is that I was loosing connection with my router. I've gotten two flight down with no drop so far, so we'll see.

I had this issue with Comcast cable internet at our old house. It turned out that the junction box in the alley had been damaged and the router was basically getting so much "noise" that it would overload and drop the connection. Then it would reset and come back. I'm not sure who your ISP is and what type of modem you have, but for me, it took three different truck rolls (you get a "higher ranking" tech each time) and me showing their senior tech the modem logs that were indicating the overload. You might research your modem and see if there's a diagnostics/status screen that you can look at immediately after the connex drops.
