Does this problem manifest immediately, or after a long period of game play? Are you using some special scenery? Looks like something due to your graphics card overheating. Also, if you haven't already done so, make sure the drivers for the graphics card are updated.

Michael- I dont play any other games on here,everything else works fine as far as videos and my windows appearance. Justin- I've installed some new sceneries,but this happened before that and this happens wherever I go,just not all the time. Jeff- This happens as soon as I start,right after I click Fly Now,added some freeware sceneries,graphics card updated. Is there a way to find out what kind of shape my graphics card is in? How do I find out if I need a new one? I ran the Nvidia updater thing and it said it was updated. I flew another checkride tonight and forget to go to spot view to see if "the blur" was there,after I got my taxi clearance, I realized it was, it made the checkride a little more interesting,especially when on approach when MSP CTR asked if I had the field in sight, I didnt and said I did,but I knew it was out there somewhere,thank God for ILS.

Your problem sounds most perplexing Sean. I don't know if there's a diagnostics program or scan you can perform on the video card, maybe check the manufacturers website? Good luck at any rate and sorry I couldn't be of greater assistance.

Do you use a NVIDIA graphics card? A lot of people have been having some serious issues with the 285.62 driver update and FSX. I know I did... So, I wnet back to the 280.26 drivers and FSX is on EXLAX... Running SMOOTH!
It's my best guess without knowing you system setup... And those new drivers came out at the end of October so it kind of line with when your troubles started.

Let me know if that helped.

Hi Paul, HP Pavilion a6109n PC,Vista ,AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core processor 3800+ 2.00 GHz,32 bit OS (RAM)2GB, NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE nForce 430. How do I go back to the 280.26 drivers? My system needs some of that Ex-lax. Thanks

LOL... Just go to the Nvidia website (http://www.nvidia.com/download/find.aspx) and go to the download drivers area. From there do an "manual" search and NOT an auto-detect. Fill in the search boxes and it should looks like: Geforce - Geforce 400 series - GT 430 - Vista 32bit - English - Recommended/Certified. This is based off of the info you gave me. From there you find the current driver plus all of the previous drivers listed with the dates they were released. Just select the August 9th 2011 -it's driver 280.26. Let me know if that helps you fix the problem.
