So, I guess some kind of bug (of the computer type ) got into my computer and disabled me from using my antivirus software and disabled FS9 too...
When I try to open it, a pop up says: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item."
I've tried System Restore, and I don't want to have to do a reinstall since I have all my aircraft and scenery on here... Anyone have any suggestions?

If you have access to another computer, you need to dwnload from your antivirus site a startup disk that will run before all your windows load up. Once you burn the cd, you may have to
log into the bios and tell the computer to boot to the cd (make the cd the first boot device) then it will run a scan that will clean it before windows loads. there are other ways but not as
easy as this.
