In case you can't see it clearly, if I click the dropdowns, they won't show all the options and if I scroll through them the choices blend into each other. Clicking them is pretty much hit or miss and I have to resort to pushing the up and down buttons on my keyboard to select them.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? I reinstalled Win 7 and this has been happening ever since, as far as I can tell, only when FSX is running. It happens if I open my speakers in the taskbar, also, and in all ACARS windows like charts and fuel. When FSX isn't running everything works perfectly as it should. The workaround I have is minimizing FSX but that gets annoying if I need to look at charts (no printer). Anyone know if there's any setting in Win 7 I need to fix it? FSX and also ACARS are running as Admin.

Thanks.

It's a FSX/Windows 7 issue. I believe Luke is going to fix it in ACARS 3. For now, just minimize FSX while opening ACARS to use a drop down.

Fast reply Justin. It never happened, ever, in my previous installation of Win 7 and FSX. Also, it's not just an ACARS issue as it happens if I open anything over FSX that has a drop down, even clicking my speaker icon in the taskbar to check sounds or adjust headset/mic volume. I can minimize FSX but looking at charts while FSX is minimized can be a hassle, especially if trying to look up a new approach ATC has assigned due to runway changes or whatever.

what i do is just open a web browser or something that covers fsx, then open ACARS on top of that. works fine for me.
