Hope this is in the right place-- I tried using the fleet 757 and seem to be having problem. The sim icons do not work (not clickable) every time I load the plane, and can only click on some buttons of the panel. Most buttons on the overhead seem to work, but i cant click on anything on the main panel. Also, the rudder is fluddering. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this a few times but still isnt working properly. I use FS9.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Phil, when I first loaded the fleet 757 in FSX I had to sort through a number of the FSX generated messages related to running unrecognized content. The first time you loaded the aircraft did a number of messages appear asking you if you wanted to allow a number of different files pertaining to the panel to run? If you didn't allow those to run or FSX did not present the challenges asking you if you want to run unrecognized content or not, FSX may be blocking some of the functionality of the 757 panel. That's just my first thought.

Some of the buttons on the panel are for "looks" only. Can you specify which ones aren't working? Also, the rudder is doing that most likely because you have the Yaw Dampeners turned on on the overhead panel.

The sim icons to select the overhead, throttle, radio, etc give me problems.

I have since found that when i load the 757-300, the simicons on the panel work, but the rudder flutters when you turn off the yaw damper. the 757-200, the simicons will not work, and i still have the flutter problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the fleet package several times, making sure everything was selected that needed to be.

I got a payware 757 a few days ago, so I don't care about fixing it anymore on my machine. Thanks for the replies!

That's odd, because the panel is the same between aircraft.

Cheers!

Yep, they were both aliased to the same panel folder. One of life's great mysteries...

Have you tried the Installer Registry Fixer from the fleet library?

That only helps in cases where the installers can't find an FS installation.

Cheers!

Been awhile since I'd had to use it. Wasn't sure what it did specifically. Thought it might be worth a try. Thanks for the clarification.
