I have been working on getting ISG to display the correct Aircraft and engine data on the initial screen. I am asking Ernie for his blessing to give away the configuration files free of charge. If he does so, and with Delta's consent, I will create all of the files for each aircraft that is in Deltas Fleet. That is providing ISG works with those aircraft. My question here is if there will be anyone interested in those files. The screen shot I am giving here shows what the FMC displays for an modified 777 panel . If there is no interest then I will scrap the whole idea. By default the Aircraft and Engine types are not displayed on the FMC And yes guys...... I am getting bored lol.

Hey David,
I purchased my ISG 2 weeks ago and I just used in my default B738. Works perfectly for me. I sometimes get confusing using it, but soon I know I`ll get the magic. I love the idea of your help, but do you think that Ernie will allow you to install in Delta`s fleet free of charge? That will be amazing.
keep me posted.

I also have a question, how do we update the NAV DATA: AIRAC? We are on 1112.

Don't misunderstand me. I do not mean I am giving the ISG away I will just be providing the configuration files so that the information is correct on the Initial page of the FMC. So far I have completed the 777, the A320 and the A330. I have already shot an E-Mail off to Ernie and I sent hime a pix of what I have done. I have also offered to send him the files so that he can see my modifications to the configuration files. I will be starting on the 757 and 763 aircraft next then probably the ERJ series. Like I said I am Not giving the program away just the mofifications so that they report the correct information for our delta aircraft. This is just a issue of cosmetics. Some people don't really care if it doesn't have the aircraft type under the model or the engine type under the ENGRATING. I am just making it easier for our pilots to have that information added so it looks right. It's a little thing but there are some out there that want the little things to be correct too. lol

The Navdata updates are comming through Navigraph. It cost a few nickles for the downloads but that is who is suppling the airacs. They also offer approach charts, sectionals, and IFR Enroute Altitude charts. Ummm....sounds like a commercial so I better quit here.
Shiny side up and dirty side down makes pilots and passengers happy at all times.

Disreguard all of this. I have written to Ernie twice with no response.
