I keep getting an OOM warning and then an error that forces FSX to close. I've done the CFF Explorer fix with allowing more than 2GB memory and am running Win 7 Ultimate with 4GB RAM. I never had this problem before reinstalling my OS but now I get it a lot. I have the same settings I used to run but I can't stop the errors. Could it be I have too much going on for FSX to cooperate? I was on the ground at FSDT's O'Hare with Aerosoft Chicago X and FT's Midway running together -- is more RAM sticks in my future?

I would start by disabling your scenery first. An OOM error in FSX is almost entirely the result of a bug in scenery or aircraft.
Cheers!

I'm not sure what you mean by "CFF Explorer fix", but if you haven't done so already, set your page file size to a higher value, consistent with the recommended parameters of Microsoft, found here, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308417
I just experienced the same problem last week and increasing the page file from a default of 250 MB to 4 G has allowed me to avoid memory depletion issues.
Also, try to shut down and restart fsx after you've completed any long hauls, especially when you have the cloud draw turned up or otherwise impose high resource requirements on your system.

This might be the one that I need. I'll check it out when I get home from work. Thanks.

Hey Matt, when you get the chance, I'd sure appreciate it if you could reply to my last post over in this thread, http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x19b8a Thanks.
Good luck with finding a solution and let us know what works. I've also employed Uiatuomationcore on numerous occassions; sometimes it has worked, other times it has done nothing for me. It seems to be specifically addressed to the problem of right clicking on the screen excessively (at least as far as fsx is concerned). Good luck.

I did the UiAUtomationcore.dll fix but that didn't help. Boosting up the page file did the job. With FT Midway, FSDT O'Hare and Aerosoft Chicago X, Chicgo looks great! It takes a bit of a toll on performance and I'll likely end up disabling either of the other airports that I don't use when flying there. Thanks guys!
Jeff, that link to the other post isn't working.

Yeah it sounded like a page file issue, much like my own as stated before. Very glad to hear it worked for you Matt.
I too noticed that link isn't working; the thread I was referring to concerned the fsx gear effects, which I haven't been able to disable yet. I think that thread was in this PC support section.
