Hello Everyone,
I was tweaking my 747, and was wondering if there is anyway to make the plane be a ble to land on water, without going back up into the air right away, or without turning on realistic crash settings.
Thanks!

If you have to make a water landing, it's a crash .

Everything you all are saying I already know, I just want to know if there is a way to make it happen.
Thank you!

I think, just the mentality that, it's a crash, makes ones who work with bouancy not even think about it.
Take a look at the float planes though . . . there's something in there (their config files) that could tell you something.

At least that, if you could put floats on it, would be one up on the Spruce Goose! She could definitely fly, just hope the floats don't fail! Landing a heavy 747 on water would be interesting... Like Jon said, check the config. files for the floatplanes, may also have something put into the model file too, regarding the float design. The airports too have to have special mods to allow floating on water, rather than a detected crash. I tried a couple of pilotable ships in FS9 which had to have special AFCADS.
