While flying on FSX my airspeed indicator randomly fails. This is not a program issue because I don't have failures enabled. Any explanation for this and how to fix it? It ruins the entire flight when this happens. Even if I reload the ACARS automatically saved file it will end up happening again.

Yes, enabling the pitot heat by depressing shift H should fix it but it still happens occasionally.

Be sure it is part of your pre-take off check list each time. It will still happen sometimes on the sim in the winter but will only last a few seconds usually.
