Hi there, two questions regarding virtual cockpits. I apologize in advance if these were asked and answered somewhere else..if you could point in the right direction that would be nice!

1. Is it possible to transfer the VC on the FSX airbus to the fleet's download for the airbus? There is not a VC on the fleet's and I would like to have one.

2. When I run the CRJ fleet download the VC is there but none of the gauges are showing up. Is there something I need to turn "on" per say or is something else wrong?

Thanks!

1. I believe all you have to do is move the panel folders and edit the aircraft.cfg but i many be wrong
2. Sure it isnt just for fs9?

Any idea where in the aircraft.cfg I need to edit?

Looking at the read me for the CRJ files, it says FS2002 only. When first downloading it however it states it's compatible with FSX, and gives me an option to select FSX when installing. It seems to not be installing the FSX version of it.

It's more complicated than that. The virtual cockpit is part of the model, not the panel. It may be possible, but it would take more work than just moving the panel folder.

Aaron - As Justin pointed out a VC is part of the 3d model and it is a complex process, if possible at all, to transfer VC's from one aircraft to another. There are some who have accomplished it but you will find this will almost always involve transferring a panel from a payware plance to a freeware plane (Project Airbus, OpenSky etc), the chances of an FS native plane being used are quite remote. If you google "Airplane 1, Airplane 2 panel merge" you should get some useful results. Just one word of caution, that search term can land you on some of the 'less scrupulous' FS sites, so be careful if you download anything.

Not too sure about number two - sometimes not having a certain font installed on your system can cause this. I'll do a bit of digging.
