Hey guys,

I've noticed as of late, especially with the PMDG 737 NGX, that FSX will stutter for about 1 second every minute or so. I'm getting roughly 50-60 FPS on average too. I'm not sure what the cause is. I'm on a new laptop with not many addons installed either. My specs are: Asus A53SV 6 GB ram, Intel i5 2430M 2.4 boost to 3.0, Nvidia GT 540M 1 GB.

At first I thought it might be my CPU load, but with FSX and other programs running it only has a load of 60%. Any help is appreciated!

Turn off the ACARS auto-flight save.

Can it really be that simple? I'll try that too. I experience the same issue....great frames but the occasional stutter. I had no idea it was the auto save feature.
