After a few hours of leaving my computer on i always leave a temp program open the one i am using is called amd overdrive. It is saying my core temps are around 9-15C at 4.1Gz. Is this even possible, normally its accurate or looks like it but thats really low. I am using the H60 and have push pull in a cold basement. But thats close to freezing.

Is that a case or processor temperature? For as many transistors as they cram onto those processsors, that tempterature range is a miracle.

Louis - by the looks of things this is not an uncommon problem

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=amd+overdrive+temperature&gbv=2&oq=amd+overdrive+te&aq=0&aqi=g4g-v4g-b2&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1099l5962l0l8441l11l11l0l2l2l0l195l1137l4.5l9l0

I'm not using an AMD - but there looks to be a few solutions. One is to disable any 'core unlockers' but not sure how this would affect your OC.

From reading through the posts in that link I would say no. My i5 2500k oc to 4.4ghz is running idle at 34%.

I am talking about temp not usage but your idle should use that much cpu unless you have a ton of background processes which i make sure i don't have on all my computers. With Chrome anti virus nivida crap and amd overdrive i use about %4-9 of every core.

I think its just because of my basement temp after more test today. It seems after leaving it alone or first turn on I get 20-25C but after leaving it on for a few hours it lowers to what i said above. It must be the cool room and the liquid getting cooled I am sure if i stressed tested it it would lower back to 20-30C idle after some heating.
