Just a thought I've had, obviously their are accompishments for the number of flight legs that are flown and all of which are milestones, but I wonder if it might be a good idea to have accomplishments for the number of hours flown, also maybe for flights in certain equipment types, I know that real world pilots seem to base their experience on flying hours that they've achieved.

Please dont see this as a criticism in anyway shape or form, I have the utmost respect for what the guys do here and love flying for DVA, however this was a thought that I had and maybe it could be considered.

Why would we have a policy against it? In any case, this topic has been mentioned and battled more than a few times here. It is a good idea tho...just not something the staff is wanting to do.

This has been kicked around before, but it never goes through because DVA is a flights based airline, not an hours based airline.

that's the best thing in DVA, i hate companies based on flight hours, where peoples make long hauls while sleeping only to collect hours doing nothing...here it's privileged the pilot's activity: taking off and landing. Go ahead with that policy DVA

Oh thanks Brandon, it would be cool to have a few more accomplishments at DVA. Not hours wise but for other things.

What about adding to the left side of the water cooler how many legs and hours flown in the current equipment class? Like...

Bryan Shepherd
DVA10461
FIRST OFFICER, B737-800
XX Legs, XXX.X hours

Then the normal shpeel underneath it.
Thoughts?
