I can't seem to find it now, but I thought I read somewhere that if you are in the 737 program you can also fly the A319/320 and vice versa? Did i misread something or am I just blind at the moment, LOL

The A320 has its own program. After completing 5 flights in the 737 and passing the F/O exam, you can request the A320 rating.

Steve, it used to be like that prior to the RW DAL-NWA merger. At the time, Delta did not operate the A320 so Stage 2 pilots were automatically given that ratting. However, post merger, when Delta began operating the A320, a seperate A320 program was created here that you have to qualify for.

Yes. You can fly any aircraft on any route as long as it can 1) make the flight within the normal range and 2) land with reserves.

You can. In fact, you can fly any aircraft you're rated for on any leg, as long as you can safely make the flight. (Your fuel tanks will hold enough fuel for the trip and reserves)

EDIT: Brandon also types ALOT faster than I do.
