I want to add the 736 rating for the Westjet codeshare flts. I looked around the pilot center to find a link to submit for an additional rating but could not find it. I searched the forum and found this from another user on how it is supposed to be done, "Go to your pilot center, and scroll down to the pilot testing and promotion section. Underneath "Switch Equipment Programs" you should see a link that says "Request Additional Ratings." Just click that, and Your current program (MD-88) should be listed. Select it and then click the button that says "Submit Additional Ratings Request." Once approved, you should get all additional ratings for all programs that you are rated in"

Problem is I do not have the "switch equipment programs" link. All I have under the Promotion section is, review promotion eligibility, testing center and senior captain nominations. Can anyone from staff advise?

Wow . . . You've all the ratings in the 737 Program except the -600.
Usually all variants of a type would come with the rating.

I think you were probably type rated before the -600 was available.

Maybe a help ticket?

The -600 rating just got added about three days ago. Go to the pilot center and request additional ratings for the 737-800.

Hi Eric - good to see your name again!

The challenge is that you've been around so long and been grandfathered into many of your ratings. The system won't give you the option to request the ratings until you write and pass the 737 First Officer's examination, and do the 737 check ride. If you have further questions, feel free to fill out a Help Desk issue.
