Greg, the jaggies are probably down to your aa settings, what gpu do u have? Flashing textures could be mip maps, are u using fsx, hard to tell from my iphone. If so I can email you a batch file to convert textures, tho there will still b some flashing.

Alan, I do have FSX and it only seems to be for this addon scenery.

Greg - is that Jonathan Gabbert's YVR? If so remember that this was designed for FS9 so it may 'lose something in translation' going to FSX. I have installed it and do get some flickering textures, but having a decent YVR means I can live with this. You should be able to lose some of the jaggies/shimmering by adding mip maps to the scenery textures, although looking at the leading edge on the wing and vertical stab your anti-aliasing settings look like they are low-medium, but this could be down to jpeg artifacting in your shot.

Hi Greg - flew in there today, there is a conflict between the FS9 altitude and the FSX altitude so a lot of the flickering you are seeing is the default terrain bleeding thru. I'll see if I can sort it.

Hi Greg, had a look and a bit of research. The problem initially lies in the airport elevation and its positioning in fsx. If it was an fs9 problem then you could adjust things using JABBgl, unfortunately don't think this works for fsx. The only way I can see to sort it out would be to use SBuilderX, something which I have absolutely no experience of. With time I might learn but I would think that the author may have released an FSX version by then. For now I'm going to see if I can live with it as is.

Of course the question of altering someone's intellectual property also comes into it.
