Hi everyone,

Last night I tried to share a cockpit with a friend. When he went to go connect to my IP, he could not. So I ended up having to connect to his. We loaded up but noticed that our panels were not synced in our Level D 767s. I know that before you could only use default jets but wasn't sure if there was an upgrade yet. Next, I was always getting disconnected from his network. My computer was on ethernet and his had a very good connection. I can't understand this. Finally, whenever I wasn't disconnected, My flight sim crashed every 10-15 minutes.

Any suggestions.

Ben

ps. also, i heard that connecting via gamespy is not that good but is it worth giving a shot?

Gamespt is notorious for issues - Choclate talks you through all of it - and there are a bunch of videos on YouTube that also help with setting it up

Thanks. Looking at a tutorial, I can see you have to set up port forwarding. I can't access my router though. I went to cmd and typed "ipconfig" and typed the default address in and internet and firefox could not find it.

So basically, I have a Motorola SB5120 router. I tried using the default gateway number found in the ipconfig. i also made a google search for the ip address for this model and was told that it was 192.168.100.1. that still doesn't work. any suggestions?

Is there a way to share the cockpit using FSHost?
