Hey guys I just recently got a new computer, a Vostro 220s with Windows 7 etc. I installed FSX, then Squawkbox 4 for FSX, whenever I loaded up FSX to start a flight I pulled up squawkbox then it made FSX shutdown. I've tried uninstalling squawkbox, and reinstalling it, I've tried running the program as an admin, and i've even tried running squawkbox outside of FSX but the problem continues to persist! what do i need to do abandon squawkbox and move on to FSINN??? help please:(

SB has never been stable for me. I use FSInn and haven't looked back.

You should run Squawkbox outside of FSX and run both programs as Admin I had that exact same problem when I got my new computer last month hope it works for you.

I've had problems with setting that up and tried FSINN, sadly I always get some errors with the FSCopilot.dll on startup. I can fix it, but when I do it messes up my MCDU entry for Airbus X.

Ok guys, so last night i tried what yall said and flew from KATL to KECP, everything went smoothly until i got about 11 miles from KECP, then Squawkbox started acting wierd freezing the sim up, so i had to dissconnect and finish the flight offline besides this small thing i had a very smooth flight.
