Hey guys!
I am so glad to hear that the GTX 680 came out recently!
My friend is building a computer with a GPU limit of $150.
My questions is, which GPU is better for the value?:
I am offering him a GT440 2GB for $50, or he can get a:
GT520 2GB for $149.99
Which would you get for the value for FSX?

I recently purchased a PNY GEFORCE GTX550 TI for less than $130.00
Not a bad card at all for the money and it is SLI ready But from what I have read about the GTX 680 it is the best card money can buy at this time. But you are going to need some kind of magic wand to find this card at the price you list
Tiger direct list it at a cool $499.99 add tax tag and title and you are looking at a price tag of about $520.00.
Which makes the odds of finding one at the price you list to about ZERO CHANCE.

Gary, I found where you got the GTX550TI...would you get that card (GTX550TI 1GB, or would you get a GT540 3GB) Price doesn't matter here.

gtx 560 two gig works good for me i can play max graphics on bf3 which is pretty much the most graphics intense game its about $250 though when i bought it at x-mass
i would suggest a gtx 550ti a 3 gig 545 is pretty much usesless you will NEVER be able to load the 3 gigs up because it is not fast enough to make use of it i doubt if i could load my 2 gig 560 without two more screens
on a side note i highly suggest waiting a few weeks till the gtx 680s hit the stores and a site like new egg or tiger direct will pry drop the price of the gtx 580 they are very nice cards and right i believe they only cost a little over $400

I have the GTX 570 and FSX hardly utilizes the hardware. This system is only used for flight sim so the additional expense was fairly pointless, although 3DMark results were amazing!
