G'day, it would appear that I may have a problem with Accars. I have downloaded and install the program on my computer. The Icon shows up in my desk top and I start it from desk top. When I connect that is fine but when I press start flight it informs me that I must start FSX, I have to shrink Accars and start fSX as per normal and plan my flight from there. When I go to the tool bar in FSX I don't have an Accars add on so I can't turn it on or off from FSX, Bit of a pain really. I have uninstall and re install the program and still no toolbar option in fsx. I am running Windows 7 on a intel 2 Quad core processor and not running any Squak box ectera for on line flying. Program is install in program files for fsx. It also crashes near the end of flights, not pleasent at all as I require this to gain my qual. forb DVA. Any help would be appreciated Cheers, Christian confused

ACARS doesn't add itself into the FSX toolbar - it is a separate program. I'm not sure what is causing your crashes, but you can recover your flights if FSX crashes.

Cheers!

Thank you I will try and recover the flight tomorow. Do I just have to restart Accars and reconnect to retrieve the flight? Cheers

ACARS won't recover the flight after a certain amount of time - 48-72 hours or so. Did FSX crash, or ACARS?

Cheers!

Fsx crashed so I don't believe it is the ACARS that's at fault. I am going to try to recover flight and if I can't I'll re fly it, Practice makes perfect. Cheers

Luke, good news just completed my first ACARS flight. It would appear that I can't use the full screen option if i want to use ACARS. Thanks for the help.
