I recently upgraded to Win 7 64 Bit and everything is running great. The only problem I am having is that my repaints are not showing up. I am sure it is a simple fix since they are not working for IFLY or QW. It has to be something I am doing wrong. All my repaints worked before the upgrade, so it is not a matter of not knowing how to install them. Any help would be appreciated.

If I had to guess , since they both use installers, is that you have to run the repaint manager as a admin.

That didn't seem to fix it. its kind of weird because it doest seem to be adding the new texture in the config file.

I went thru this before. If you didn't run a installer as a admin ( for the aircraft or FSX), then the rest gets messed up. If I ran FSX as a admin I had one fleet. If I didn't run it as a admin I had another fleet. I did a complete uninstall/reinstall and turned my UAC off.

I thought the whole admin thing was a vista quirk. is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling.

Possibly unistalling the aircraft and liveries and then reinstall making sure you run as admin or turn off UAC I guess.

Thanks Richie, still didn't fix it. I can't believe all the things that could have gone wrong with this process and this the thing that fouls up. Anybody else have any thoughts.
