Microsoft is involved... LOTS of possible issues. Just sayin... smile

Most of the pain i forsee will be add-ons, as i still have a few that haven't worked right since i went to W7. Windows Compatibility mode for the major programs should deal with the majority of the growing pains.

FSX and Windows 7 works great for me ....not even interested in trying Windows 8. It seems to me every other Windows version is junk....

from what I have seen it will be similar to windows 8 phone. I'll stick with 7 since I don't have any issues with it.

why even consider going to win whatever? FSX was designed for a few versions ago, nothing now is going to help us. We got a break with Win 7, only because of memory management and stuff, but it's not going to happen again for FSX users. Next version of Windows is not going to be good for us, just my thoughts...

I installed it and FS would not run on it. Don't go to Win 8 for anything or you will be sorry. If you don't want your FS then it is probably okay for other stuff. I will say, however, the graphics are outstanding. This is my personal point of view and experience with Windows 8.

You forgot Windows 2000. It was good, and I ran it on my FS computer until my hard drive died in '06, when I finally switched to XP.
