I have been assigned the CRJ200. I installed ACARS, as per instructions found on this site. Its been a few days now and I have only gotten one successful flight logged. I will try and explain what the problems are and do it in a number fashion and in no particular order. After re-flying a mission you kinda get a little frustrated after completing it only to find out ACARS has crashed mid-flight or Alt-tab'ing out of fsx and having FSX crash due to doing that.

1, Acars will somehow crash sometimes midflight and when I land it is unable to retrieve or submit the flight I have just completed. The longer my flight the greater the chance of it doing this it seems.

2,ALT-TAB I tried this with FSX; FSX was not very happy about being alt-tabbed to start ACARS causing graphical or downright locking up. - I have switched to FS9 and this has helped with this issue.

This is happening on a fresh installation of fsx and fs9 void of any modifications unless needed by DVA.

Sometimes FSX doesn't like running full window. Try pressing Alt + Enter to change it to windowed version. This allows for an easier way to switch between windows.

Agreed. I have a hard time running FSX in full screen, ACARS or not.
Get out of full screen mode, you should be fine in FSX.

+1 for running FSX is windowed mode. Stability is just rancid in full screen mode what with the add ons we bolt on to FSX.

Seriously?! +9000 for you good sir! thank you so much! This has made everything completely stable. I now am going to attempt to add vatsim since the default has been very redundant and and giving me vectors that are useless. A couple nights ago and it has happen 2 twice on this route I have to drop 8-10k in altitude while only being about 4nm away from my runway. Unless I nose-dive which I did because I was done for at that point anyways.
