I am fairly new to this Virtual Airline and must say I am loving every bit of it so far. DVA truly has a lot to offer in comparison to other VA's out there. I am just putting my opinion / thoughts out there, so please forgive me if I am crossing any "lines." For if I do, I didn't do it intentionally

I believe there should be an option for some of the pilots in DVA to donate in order to benefit the virtual airline. This could help improve some of the planes, or maybe offer better virtual cockpits. For example, I am currently in the CRJ-200 program. It is honestly a very fun plane to fly and at the same time has enough complexity to keep it interesting. However, I tend to fly better with the virtual cockpit view and I cannot do this in the CRJ because the panels aren't showing. It is either pitch black or white when the lights are on. This makes it extremely hard to fly, especially during the approach and landing where stalls can become a factor.

I also noticed that A LOT of the planes still haven't been made compatible with FSX and are only working for FS9 and under versions. A few small donations from such a large community of members should help DVA pick up FSX compatible planes and perhaps offer some payware planes to be used for our flights?

I am sure there are many other things the VA could do with a few small donations to either continue to help DVA grow or to have more features for their pilots. These are just a few I had off the top of my head.

Again, I want to be clear to everyone that I am not complaining at all!!!! I am only coming up with a suggestion!

DVA doesn't accept donations, per se. What they do is offer shares when available that you can purchase ($10 each) that go to help run the website. An announcement will be made when DVA is offering shares.

Most of our fleet is actually compatible for FSX, it just doesn't say so. Payware is not an option. You also don't have to use the birds from here. You can use the default CRJ or another one out there.

Count on me for purchasing these shares. This VA really deserves my contribution.

In fact we have so many pilots that own shares or wish to own shares that the shares are allocated and limited each year. Just another reason this place is as good as it gets.
