Can anyone tell me why my fs pauses always at the beginning of my appoach? Then after I hit P it starts up again and is ok for the rest of the flight

what aircraft are you flying? Most of my payware will pause at TOD. There are settings in most of my airplanes either in the FMC or in the Addons Tab for the plane to change it.
