I notice with other VAs around the internet you must fly once a month in order to remian active, this one in my opinion is far ahead of the rest in that you only have to log in to remain so, I tend to fly a lot for about 3-6months then take a break from it for a while(I've just flown for the first time in 3 months) as I find every now and then I like to do other things with my spare time, I''m either all or nothing at all, so for me it's so good as it allows me to continue to enjoy my hobby without feeling pressured to meet a deadline once a month

True, this is a nice feature of DAV - among many others!

That is one main reason why I love it here. I look at other VA's to broaden the VA experience but just can't do the one or two required flights a month deal. I don't always get the free time required to sim.

The chill nature of DVA really is one of its biggest selling points. There are too many VAs that require x flights per month, in one type of plane, on select routes, while worrying about virtual cash. I understand how some people may enjoy that. But if I wanted a second job, I'd get a second job. wink
Variety is the spice of life.

I agree with the above comments. What I like about DVA is that you need to show that you are competent on an aircraft before you are promoted. I like to work for my ratings and be promoted on my abilities and not the hours acrueed. The help I have received since joining has been second to none, now where is that jumbo!!! cool smile

Ohh man, I have to fly at least 4 times in a week or I die. I`m so into the FLYSIM.

I do that as much as I can, occasionally though other interests drag me away from the cockpit, thoug it's always nice to return and add a few new airfields to my collection along with other stuff
