I am trying add the AGARS gauges to the default FS9 B737. The instructions from the ACARS manual are very not much help, very confusing. I find three different panel.cfg files. And where is the "[window00]" section? When I open the ACARSInfo.CAB file it asks me where I want to extract the selected items ??? I'm not a computer geek by any means, but I have done a bit of file changing and all the usual stuff, this just is not making any sense. Can any one give me a clear, step by step procedure to add these gauges? Thank You confused

You don't need the gauges to compete flights on ACARS. The gauge just tells you what phase of flight ACARS is in.

To add the ACARS gauge to a panel, use the following example: gauge111=ACARSInfo!767, 511,712,85,55

This one is from the fleet 757 panel configuration file (panel.cfg)
Just open the panel.cfg file for the aircraft you are trying to add it to, add the line to the list of gauges making the gauge number the next number in the list, the last 4 numbers are the horizontal and vertical position of the gauge on the panel and the height and length of the gauge. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I thought the gauges were required for ACARS flights. I will give it another try as suggested.

Nope. Not required at all. None of the planes I fly have it.
